Infection Control Nurses of Connecticut    We are a group of dedicated Infection Preventionists practicing in varied health care settings in the State of Connecticut with the goal of reducing the risk of infection to our residents, patients, families and staff. Our mission is to provide leadership through the state board of directors to promote evidence based infection prevention and control practices. Our goal is to reduce the risk of infection to our residents, patients, families and staff; to strengthen collaborative ties with local and state health departments; to provide educational opportunities and develop protocols and guidelines related to infection prevention and control.
